Web stuff
Ok, I should admit up-front that I'm not exactly an expert at web development. Having fiddled around with computers for some time I have a fair amount of technical experience, and I'm comfortable reading html and such-like. But I've not actually created websites from scratch so this section is not an in-depth guide to writing your own site from the ground up. It's mainly a section for me to put some of my own notes on how to use a few of the tools that I've come across recently as I try to put my site together, and that for the hockey club (cambridge south).
For my website, I use EasySpace for hosting, the hockey site uses Streamline. I started off by using Dreamweaver to write my own website but when we started creating the new hockey website we used Website Baker (an open source content management system), and having seen how easy it is to use I've now moved this website to the same system.
